Reddate TV

Features

Everything Reddate TV does.

The major ones first, then the details.

01

Watch parties

Same scene, same second, on every screen.

Invite

One profile or all of them

From the player choose Invite. Pick a single profile on your account, another TV, or everyone at once. They get a Join / Not now pop-up wherever they are in the app.

Code

Join with a code

Each party has a short code. Anyone with Reddate TV can open Watch together, choose Join with a code, and enter it. The host doesn't have to allow or deny.

No limit

As many people as you like

There's no seat limit. If a code leaks, the worst that happens is one more person joins.

Host

The host drives

Only the host's play, pause and seek move everyone who is in sync. The host can also remove someone from Who's here.

Guests

Pause on your own

A guest can pause or play for themselves. They drift out of sync, and when they resume they're asked "Sync with the host?". A Sync button sits beside Play / Pause.

Per screen

Your own subtitles and audio

Subtitles and audio language are chosen on each device, so one person can watch with Spanish subtitles while another watches without.

Chat

Chat from the TV

Show or hide the chat, and reply with the TV's on-screen keyboard.

Slow internet

Kind to weak connections

A screen that falls behind catches up by slightly speeding up instead of jumping, and a room heals itself if a TV drops out for a moment.

02

It remembers your stream

So you don't have to browse a hundred rows.

What's saved

The exact kind of stream

Addon, quality, source, codec, container, HDR, audio language and release group are compared. The matches are marked ★ Your usual.

Where it applies

Episodes, next episode, resume

Pick any episode from the Episodes menu, let the next one start by itself, or resume from Continue watching. Each uses your usual stream.

Per show

Remembered per show or movie

A show you watch in Spanish dub stays that way without changing your other shows.

Safety net

It won't pick a broken one

If your usual stream looks slow or dead right now, Reddate TV shows the choices instead. A stream your TV can't decode is skipped.

03

Continue watching

Per profile, with the provider you used.

Resume

Back to the exact second

The row shows progress and time left. OK resumes at your spot with the same stream kind.

Up next

The next episode, ready

Finish an episode and the next shows up as "Up next". When an episode ends, the next starts by itself after a short notice.

Profiles

Everyone gets their own

Switch profile from the side menu. Each profile has its own row and its own remembered streams.

04

Addons, logos and connection checks

You decide the sources.

Catalogs

Design your Home

Catalog addons add rows. Show, hide and reorder rows from the Addons screen.

Streams

Logo on every stream

Each stream card shows the logo of the addon it came from, plus quality, source and language.

Ping

Green, yellow, red

Each stream is tested on your own connection. The label shows the response time and measured speed, and the best ones come first.

Subtitles

Online subtitles

Subtitle addons add more languages online. Pick one in the player and it loads in place.

How to add addons, step by step

05

And more

Smaller things that add up.

YouTube & links

Paste a link, watch it big

Paste a YouTube link or a direct video link and it plays on the TV, optionally together with others in a party.

Profiles

Profile pictures in the menu

The side menu shows who's watching with a one-press Switch profile.

QR sign-in

Scan a code with your phone to sign in. No passwords typed with a remote.

Made for the remote

Smooth and predictable

Rows glide, the banner shrinks out of the way, holding a direction keeps a steady speed, and the controls hide after five quiet seconds.

Episodes

An Episodes panel in the player

Switch episode without leaving the picture. The old video stops at once and a loading screen with the episode name appears.

Decoder aware

Knows what your TV can play

Streams your TV can't decode (for example some 4K) are hidden or ranked last, so you don't land on a black screen.
